Both the bolts stripped and had to get the Craftsman bolt kit designed for stripped bolts to get them off, and even then it took all my strength to break them loose. But, after that it was a piece of cake, even by myself.The sound is excellent in my opinion, but to each his own. I think it makes it sound more of how you would think a sporty V6 should. Much deeper tone throughout all RPM's but doesn't add too much noise. The cabin drone is very minimal, only noticeable during takeoff's and when accelerating from a slow speed. None while cruising and definitely none if listening to music. It does sound great with the windows down and flooring it, has a nice roar. I also made out with free shipping from here instead of some inflated charge due to an oversize box. I received the kit within 3 days even though the estimate was 5-8 days.Unpacked the kit and found a free hat. Install took about an hour total to include the removal of the old factory exhaust. Came with all the clamps and hardware with nothing missing. I did have to bend the front exhaust hanger just a bit to get it to stay in the mount better but overall I am very happy with the kit and it sounds great. Not to loud and no horrible drone sound in the vehicle at all. You can hear how it sounds, inside and out of the car, if you watch the video on Borla's web site. It's easy to install. It took me and another guy about 2 hours. There's no official claim for hp improvement, but a guy at Borla said that they figured about 10-15 hp increase, because of the bends that are eliminated, plus the elimination of the huge center muffler. Anyway, awesome sound, no rattles, no problems. I did not reinstall the clamp that held up the old center muffler, but I noticed, on some of the how-to videos, that some other guys did put that bracket back on. I thought it might cause rattles, so I just left it off. It is difficult to find this in stock anywhere.
